Specializing in providing caring and high quality healthcare to patients and their families, Dr Mackenzie feels it is a privilege to be able to treat the whole family, from infant to frail care, in a safe and friendly environment. Meet The Team
Dr. Mary Mackenzie
MBCHB (UCT) General Practitioner & Aesthetics Practitioner
Dr Mackenzie is originally from Durban and completed her undergraduate medical degree at the University of Cape Town in 1988. She has 26 years experience in private practice and 16 years experience in Aesthetics, a field which Dr Mackenzie has a particular interest in and pursued as another way to make people feel better – something which is at the core of everything she does. Dr Mackenzie is married and has two children, Joshua and Rebecca.
Pearl
Practice Manager
Pearl has been working with Dr. Mackenzie since 2008 and has over 13 years experience in the medical field. Pearl looks after the practice and its staff and assists with some of the procedures. She is happy to get involved in any aspect of the business including any billing queries. Pearl is married with two little girls.
Desiree
Reception/Administrator
Desiree is the face of the practice and will be your first point of contact. With 8 years administration experience, she is responsible for telephone reception and appointment bookings. Desiree is married with a little boy.
Sunita
Nursing Sister
Sunita has 15 years nursing experience and assists Dr. Mackenzie with administering drips and all procedures. She is married and a mum to three children.
